Make this your year! Make this the year that you will eat more veggies and less processed foods. Make this the year that you will eat less fast food and more health conscious meals at home. Make this the year that you will drink more water and less soda. Make this the year that you will push your workouts to the next level. You can do it. It's just a matter of steps. One step at a time. You can not complete a marathon without putting one foot in front of the other. And before you know it, you've crossed that finish line.
My goals for this year are pretty simple: run a half marathon, tone things up a bit more, and discover new ways to cook vegan cuisine. That's it. Plain and simple.
One thing to remember about goals and weight loss and healthy living is you have to allow yourself room for forgiveness. You will mess up, you will eat unhealthy things, you will miss workout days. We all do. We all have on days and off days. And that's OK! Give yourself a little wiggle room and don't beat yourself up. But also don't allow that wiggle room to be a mile wide. :)
You can make 2012 great! But only you can do it. You have to make the goals and you have to make the changes. My new favorite quote is:
It's never a matter of can you, but will you.
